Since the debut of Clue, the Delaware Way, we've been inundated with support from several well-positioned and some well-respected politicians and lobbyists. As far as our game goes, apparently, there will be no Jennings in the cellar with a syringe. Late last week, the respected prosecutor declined Jack's invitation to the dinner at Woodburn - falling into political line behind the lame duck Governor. As it appears that the Dems will not primary for the candidacy of Attorney General, and with no Republican candidate in sight, Denn has a straight shot.
That should be the end of our game, but things in Delaware are never what they seem. And while Jack busies himself crafting a menu fit for kings, importing the finest water Beck's Woods Reservoir has to offer and promising Vlasic pickles among an array of indiginous fish, he's still setting the table for six...
