Wisconsin Assembly Passes Bill to Take Away Union Rights.  Can this bill be stopped in the Wisonsin Senate?

Why would you want to stop a bill that simply stops unions from putting salaries ahead of kids...and stops dangling about these impossibly large benefit packages etc. WE've got to reign in these out of control teachers unions.

DEConservative - It takes two parties to sign those contracts.

I find it reprehensible when any governing body tries to fix a "mistake" i.e. signing a bad contract, by legislating the dismantlement of the organized labor movement.

Organized labor is not solely at fault, government share responsibility. The Wis. Unions gave the Gov. everything he wanted in his budget proposal. Yet, he's continuing to push for the dissolution of their collective governing power. It's overkill and enough is enough.
