Christopher Ruszkowski has applied for Pinelles County Schools Superintendent. I find it ironic that Ruszkowski - a DE DOE RTTT/PZ hire - wants to lead a district whose board is planning to pass an anti-highstakes testing resolution!

He’s been team leader of the teacher and leader effectiveness unit since October 2011 and was deputy officer of the Race to the Top team for a year before that. He’s also worked for The New Teacher Project and Teach for America.

I thought Ruszkowski was a fairly new 2011 hire. I know he was an ass when he loudly and rudely yodeled pro-charter shouts in the seat behind me at the supposedly decorum-mandated News Journal forum at Clayton Hall and then kept up a sidebar conversation when the DSEA President was speaking until I was compelled to give him and his seat-mate, Paul Harrell, a stern shuuuush or two.
Oh Jesus...this guy is a year older than I am with a resume that's heavy on edu-bureaucracy and he's applying to be superintendent? Ambitious, but holy hell!
